The ProMax is a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS) that is designed to minimize chronic and acute pain associated with neurological and severe physical disabilities. This device features pulse duration compensation and true strength duration modulation to ensure the continuous stimulation of sensory nerve thresholds. It also has a "soft turn-on" feature that automatically shuts off power to the unit if an electrode or leadwire comes loose, and all leadwires are recessed into the bottom of the case. Other features include a large Supertwist display screen with high resolution characters that can be read from many different angles, and a compliance monitor which assists clinicians in determining the overall effectiveness of treatment. The output current is adjustable from 0 to 100 mA, and the pulse rate is variable from 50 to 400 microseconds. ProMax is suitable for use in clinical settings. A control panel cover is standard. DIMENSIONS (LxWxD): 4 x 2.81 x 1.35 inches. COLOR: The control panel cover is light grey and black. WEIGHT: 4.31 ounces with batteries.
