The Talking Dictionary is a voice output dictionary and spell check program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This speech-enabled 250,000 word English dictionary and thesaurus is designed to be used as a stand-alone program, and does not require separate voice output or screen reading software. All of the controls are keyboard shortcuts. Features include the ability to quickly scroll through various word definitions and synonyms, a tutorial, and built-in help. The dictionary comes on a CD.
