The Streamer Sport, model 888WA, is powered wheelchair designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility or neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. FRAME (LxW): The overall dimensions, including the footplate, are 45 x 24 x 40 inches. The wheelbase is 41 x 23 inches with a ground clearance of 3 inches. The turning radius is 17.7 inches. Two rear 3-inch anti-tip wheels are standard. The chair disassembles for transport. The base is available in blue or burgundy. CONTROLS: Penny & Giles (P+G) VSI controller. A swing-away mounting bracket is optional. RWD: Rear-wheel drive with 0.6 horsepower to each wheel. SEAT(WxDxH): 19 x 18 x 21 inches. The standard seat is a captain's seat with headrest. ARMRESTS: Height- and length-adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. CASTERS: 6-inch articulating front casters. WHEELS: The chair is equipped with 10-inch drive wheels with flat-free tires. FOOTRESTS: A one-piece flip-up footplate is standard. OPTIONS: Stump support, cane holder, walker holder, oxygen tank holder (metal or mesh), safety belt and joystick knob. POWER: Uses two 12-volt, 32 AH batteries with an off-board charger with front access port. SPEEDS: 5 miles per hour with a maximum range of 20 miles per battery charge and a maximum climbing angle of 6 degrees. CAPACITY: 300 pounds. WEIGHT: 203 pounds, including battery and seat.
