The Shoprider Scootie is a four-wheeled scooter designed for use by an individual with mobility or neurological disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. FRAME (LxWxH): The overall dimensions are 37 to 40 x 17 x 19 to 34 inches. The ground clearance is 2 inches. The scooter is available in red, yellow, or blue and disassembles without tools for transport and storage. CONTROLS: Controls are mounted on a folding and locking tiller. A horn is also located on the tiller. RWD: Rear-wheel drive with differential. SEAT: The flip-down ABS plastic seat is height adjustable from 33.25 to 34.25 inches. ARMRESTS: Flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Electronic brakes. WHEELS: Dual articulating front wheels and rear mag drive wheels. Flat-free tires are standard. OPTIONS: Sun shade, rear view mirror, front mesh basket, rear wire basket, cane holder, walker holder, armrest carrying bag, and more. POWER: Uses 12-volt batteries. A battery indicator light is located on the tiller. SPEEDS: 3.5 miles per hour with a travel range of up to 10 miles per battery charge and a climbing angle of 8 degrees. CAPACITY: 225 pounds. WEIGHT: 53 pounds without batteries; 73 pounds with batteries. The heaviest part when disassembled is 24.6 pounds.
