The Ergodex DX-1 Adaptive Keyboard is a keyboard interface designed for use by individuals with severe physical, upper extremity, vision or cognitive disabilities. This keyboard consists of a tablet and 25 adhesive-backed keys. Although the adhesive forms a strong bond, the keys can be moved by twisting them off, enabling them to be moved around on the surface. The keys are programmable to perform any number of tasks, including controlling single or multiple functions such as moving entire blocks of text,
launching web sites, performing operations that otherwise require multiple key combinations, or
performing double mouse clicks with a single touch. The system includes the DX1 Pad, the DX1 Tray, keys numbered 1 through 25, a blank label sheet, a printed label sheet, an installation CD, and a QuickStart Guide. OPTIONS: A set of replacement keys (1 through 25), Key Set 2 numbered 26 through 50 that can be programmed separately, and a replacement key tray. DIMENSIONS: The tray is 9 x 11 inches. WARRANTY: Limited warranty.
