---- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To create a prototype of a gaze-controlled interface cursor to assist those with fine motor and/or hand disabilities. Those with disabilities such as Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), have a hard time controlling their limbs and communicating, making it hard to utilize communication tools, electronic devices, or simply be independent. The Eye Gaze device functions on eyesight--a user can roll their eyes over a virtual keyboard to communicate with others. The Microsoft team also hopes to add a feature in which a wheelchair-bound individual can move their chair through sight.
