---- PROTOTYPE --------- PURPOSE: To design a prototype of a wearable patch based on Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) technology to provide relief for various types of pain for people with disabilities or pain disorders. Developed by Thimble Bioelectronics, this wearable TENS patch uses low voltage electrical stimulation to help provide relief for certain types of pain. The patch was inspired when Thimble's CEO and founder, Shaun Rahimi, was working on a device to help with his chronic back and arm pain. Thimble claims that the patch will feature Bluetooth connectivity that allows it to pair to smartphones using an app, also developed by Thimble, to track and manage pain. AUTHOR: Tyler Lee.
