The VegTrug Compact Patio Garden is a raised bed container gardening system designed for use by individuals with mobility, lower extremity, or balance disabilities. This planter enables a person to garden with no bending or kneeling to plant, tend, or harvest. The elevated bed also means no weeds and fewer pests. The V-shape accommodates deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center and shallow-rooted crops like salad greens along the edges. A fitted fabric liner in included to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. This VegTrug Compact Patio Garden is made of FSC-certified, sustainable, plantation-grown fir with non-toxic stain, and it is equipped with plastic feet and a fabric liner. The plastic feet protect the wood from wet surfaces. The unit holds 190 quarts of container mix soil. OPTIONS: Greenhouse frame and cover, frost cover, or insect cover.
