The Zimmerman Low Vision Simulation Kit is a low vision simulation device to allow people with normal vision to experience different types of low vision. The Kit contains four eye-cup goggles with four acuity loss lenses (approximate simulations of 20/70, 20/200, 20/600 and 20/800), three funnels that simulate peripheral field loss (tunnel vision) of approximately 3, 7, and 10 degrees, and other lenses which simulate macular degeneration for both near and distance viewing, cataract, scotoma, and hemianopsia. Four occluder lenses also are included. Replacement parts are available, and a carrying case with a foam insert is included.
