The Mobile-Lift Outside model is a bumper-mounted wheelchair alternative carrier designed to allow scooter users to drive onto the platform, get off, and push a switch to lift. The lift raises and locks any scooter into place on the back of a car in about 60 seconds. The unit folds up out of the way when not in use. A quiet, electric motor lowers the platform. The scooter is attached with adjustable safety belts. Two models are available. Model 19500 is designed for 3-wheel scooters and is triangular in shape. Model 19675 is a rectangular platform for 4-wheel scooters or powered wheelchairs. The platforms are made of aluminum and attach to the automobile with any local trailer hitch installer. It bolts onto a class 3 receiver hitch. POWER: 12-volt motor made of steel and hardened gears, permanently lubricated. WEIGHT: 62 pounds. COLOR: Black powder-coat finish.
