Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon is a cognitive skills tutorial program designed to develop logic and critical thinking skills for individuals with a cognitive or physical disability. Students help Putt-Putt and Rover, who accidentally land on the moon, rebuild a rocket and accomplish a few good deeds for the Moon People before they can return home. Hundreds of secret click points turn Putt-Putt into an animated story that unfolds under students' direction with a variety of outcomes. This program is available on CD-ROM or diskette, comes with a 48 page activity book and is designed to be TouchWindow accessible (see separate entry). COMPATIBILITY: IBM and compatibles, and Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: Performa, Centris or Quadra Series; 2 MB free RAM; 256 color monitor; CD-ROM version also requires CD-ROM drive. IBM: 12 MHz 286 or higher; 640K RAM; VGA card; 3.5 disk drive; no sound card is required for digitized speech; sound is supported on PC internal speaker, Sound Blaster (see separate entry), Pro Ausio Spectrum, Microsoft Sound Card, Disney Sound Source, Covox Speech Thing and Sound Master. CD-ROM version also requires a CD-ROM drive.
