Safe Guard Playground System

The Safe Guard Playground System is a rubber mat and ground retention grid designed to help eliminate injuries due to falls on playgrounds and to provide an accessible surface for individuals with disabilities. The seamless surface is a blend of rubber granules and polyurethane binder that is poured into place, allowing it to be molded into a variety of shapes and thicknesses. It may be installed over properly prepared hard surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, wood, tile, or brick, as well as loose material such as sand or gravel. The non-slip surface features a porous design which allows water to flow freely for drainage and it is maintained by sweeping and rinsing with water. The surfacing also features a gradual slope transition to eliminate tripping hazards, as well as a large saw cut at the end of the slope which interlocks the slope transition piece and surfacing with the base. COLOR: Black, green, red, blue, and beige are standard colors. Grey, gold, orange, yellow, lavender, primary red, and teal are available by special order. Custom blends and colors are also available.
