The SoundScope is a speech and sound analysis program designed to record, view, analyze, play, store and print sound waveforms for individuals who have speech disabilities. It features the following analysis routines: Time Waveform, Expanded Time Waveforms, Wideband FFT, Narrowband FFT, LPC, Cepstrum, Spectrogram, LPC History, Fundamental Frequency, Jitter, Shimmer, Harmonic-to-Noise Ratio, Envelope, Energy, Zero Crossing, Spline, LPC Residual, and Average Spectrum.SoundScope provides a powerful programming environment that lets users save sequences of eventsas separate Tasks, which can be run with the click of a mouse button. The program also provides for various statistics to be calculated and it has an interal text editor. The SoundScope/16 ($4990.00) package is a complete hardware and software package for Macs with a full size Nubus slot and comes with the AudioMeter II digitizer board (16 bit, 44.1 kHz), line input, microphone, mic amp and BOSE Powered speakers. The SoundScope/LC ($4390.00) is a complete hardware and software package for the LC series Macs (including Color Classic) and includes the same as above. The SoundScope/8 ($840.00) does not support tasks, 16-bit digitizers or 16-bit data. It does offer the full range of analysis but with entry-level (up to 10-bit) sound quality and includes a digitizing microphone and line input. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh. OPTIONS: The SoundScope/16 and SoundScope/8 are available as software only poackages for $3090.00 and $490 respectively.
