The Phonic Ear FST (Frequency Selective Transmitter) is an FM transmission system designed for classroom use. The PE 481 FST allows one to transmit on any of the 40 narrow-band channels to any FM receiver in the 72-76 MHz band. To change transmitting frequency, remove the AT 491 color-coded System 4 RO (receiver oscillator) and insert another RO of the desired frequency. Transmitter comes with high capacity modular battery pack. Single system and expandable group battery chargers available. This transmitter is good for use as a back-up transmitter or for single system use.
