The TDR-7AA Binaural hearing Aid/Wireless FM Receiver is an FM amplification system that consists of a binaural FM receiver and hearing aid combination, designed for classroom and personal use. It combines dual environmental microphones, dual hearing aid amplifiers (with separate calibrated volume, gain, tone and SPL controls for each) and an FM receiver in a body-worn unit. Button earphones or behind-the-ear units are available for non-hearing aid users. Hearing aid users can couple to the receiver via an induction loop or with direct audio input. Some features include automatic gain control circuitry; AA-size batteries; separate right and left earphone jacks; ability to use as a hearing aid only, FM only, or both; auxiliary audiovisual input jack for use with TV; tape recorder; PA system; 'No FM' and 'Low Battery' indicators; automatic shutoff circuit when charging batteries; and an ink-erasable user name label.
