The Fisher-Price Talkin' Scannin' Checkout Center is a toy designed for children with vision and fine motor disabilities. The set includes a conveyor belt that moves the child's purchases to a scanner which voice announces the prices of the groceries as they are scanned. Four picture buttons announce the name of the food depicted and the coupon button announces the savings amount when pressed. The set includes a cash drawer and credit card slot, each with its own sound effect, a plastic coupon, play money, a grocery bag, and a variety of grocery items including a banana, an apple, a cereal box, a milk carton, and a loaf of bread. The various pieces and the buttons are large.
