Consent Management tools in Allegheny County
The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) is conducting an environmental scan of key activities involving the exchange of sensitive Substance Use Disorder (SUD) information, with focus on processes and technologies used to manage patient consent and release of information. HCA is conducting phone interviews with early adopter States/communities that have used consent management tools to exchange sensitive information.
We’re looking for your help to reach out to appropriate points of contact in your community to participate in the phone interview. Our objective is to gather information to better understand the workflow, drivers, policies, tools, and services associated with deploying and adopting a consent management tool. We’d like to speak with subject matter experts conversant with consent management tools (i.e., with functional expertise in policy, patient care, clinical operations and information technology). We’d like to include perspectives of persons who create and consume electronic consent documents (e.g., behavioral health providers and physical health providers) as well as IT/administrative staff responsible for managing the implementation of these tools.
We really appreciate any assistance you’re able to provide. If you’d like more information about the project, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
